Young Event Group LLC dba A Twist of Lime · Version PP-2026-11b · Last Updated: November 1, 2026 · Earlier versions

Who we are and what this covers. A Twist of Lime is a trade name of Young Event Group LLC, 650 Nuttman St, Ste 114, Santa Clara, CA 95054. This policy covers atwistofli.me, our web apps, our forms, and how we communicate with you. This policy does not cover job applicants. See our Applicant Privacy Notice. We follow California privacy principles and, whether or not California law requires it of a business our size, we offer the rights below to everyone who contacts us.

What we collect. From you: name, email, phone, addresses, event details, messages, and payment records (card details go to Stripe; we receive the amount, date, card brand and last four digits). Automatically: IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, referring page, general location from your IP address, and cookie data. From phone calls and voicemail: your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, the menu options you choose, any event number you enter, and, if you leave a voicemail, the recording, a transcript and a short summary and category we generate from it. If we record a live call with our team, we also collect the recording.

Cookies and similar technology.

  • Necessary: your cookie choice (atol-cookie-consent, saved in your browser's storage until you change it or clear it, and mirrored in a cookie that lasts up to 365 days), portal and personnel sign-in sessions, and form progress saved in your browser.
  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga cookies): used to understand traffic and measure our ads. Google may also set advertising cookies (such as _gcl_) used to measure ad conversions. In the EU, UK and Switzerland, before you make a choice, Google's tag sets and reads no cookies but may send Google a limited signal (for example, your IP address, browser details, the web address of the page you viewed, including any ad-click ID in it, the page that referred you, and the fact that you have not yet agreed). Google uses it for basic measurement and to model conversions.
  • atol_gclid: if you arrive from a Google ad and you click Accept on our cookie banner, we store the ad's click ID in a cookie for up to 90 days. We do not set it if you choose Reject non-essential, if you have not made a choice, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. If you accept and then send an inquiry, we save the click ID with your inquiry record so we can measure our ads.
  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure page views and page speed. Vercel states that they do not use cookies.
  • Jotform may set its own cookies on forms it hosts; Jotform's policy applies to them.

Your choices. In California, Google Analytics and Google advertising measurement are on until you choose Reject non-essential in the cookie banner or the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as that opt-out and do not set new cookies of those kinds. In the EU, UK and Switzerland, we do not set Google Analytics or Google advertising cookies until you choose Accept (see Cookies above for the limited signals Google may receive before you choose). If you choose Reject non-essential, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we stop sending your browsing activity from your browser to Google Analytics and Google advertising measurement from that point on (a page you opened before choosing may already have been counted). Booking and inquiry measurement events that our servers send follow the choice saved when you submitted your inquiry. When you choose Reject non-essential, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we also delete the Google Analytics and Google advertising cookies (_ga, _gcl) and our ad-click ID cookie from your browser for our site. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is no agreed standard.

Sharing. We have "shared" identifiers, internet activity, and hashed email and phone data with Google for advertising measurement (hashing means Google receives a scrambled version it can match to its own records). Outside the EU, UK and Switzerland this happens unless you choose Reject non-essential or send a Global Privacy Control signal. If you reject or send the signal, we stop sending browsing activity from your browser from that point on (a page you opened before choosing may already have been counted). Booking and inquiry measurement events that our servers send follow the choice saved when you submitted your inquiry (if you had not made a choice, we treat visitors outside the EU, UK and Switzerland as not having opted out). We do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.

Retailer cart. If your event uses the optional retailer cart, a member of our staff sends one email to the beverage retailer we work with. It contains your name (or your email address if we have no name on file), your Event ID, your event date and bar start time, the city and state of your venue, the type of event, your materials list and any notes our staff add. We do not send your phone number, your street or delivery address, or any payment information. The email includes a private link the retailer uses to submit your cart to us. The retailer is an independent business. If you buy from it directly, it handles the information you give it under its own privacy policy.

Who processes data for us. Google (analytics, advertising measurement, Maps and Workspace; and, through Google Cloud, the speech and AI services we use to transcribe and summarize voicemail), Jotform (forms), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (calls, call and voicemail recording, text messages), Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Axiom (error logs). They process it only to provide services to us, under their terms of service.

Emails and text messages. We email you about your inquiry and booking, including follow-up emails after an inquiry. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. If you give us your mobile number on a form, we may text you about your inquiry or booking. These texts are informational. We do not send marketing texts. Reply STOP or email us to stop them. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying our services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message opt-in data with third parties for their marketing. See our SMS Terms.

Phone calls, voicemail and texts to our main number. When you call our toll-free number we keep a call log. If you enter an event number, we check it against our booking records, and we may match your calling number to our records so we can route your call. We use that only for our own purposes. We may record calls you have with our team. If we do, we tell you at the start of the call, and you can choose not to be recorded. If you leave a voicemail, we record it and use automated tools (including Google's speech and AI services) to make a transcript, a short summary and a category such as 'new inquiry' or 'urgent', and we email the recording and transcript to our team. We use calls and voicemails to respond to you, route and return calls, run our event-day help line, and check the timeliness and quality of our service and train our team. A recording of a live call is reviewed by a member of our team, not by automated tools. We do not create voiceprints, use recordings to train AI models, sell them, or share them for advertising. If you press a key or text us to ask for a link, we text you that link. If you text this number, our team reads your message and part of our reply may be automatic. Please don't leave card numbers or other sensitive information in a voicemail or on a recorded call.

Third-party links. Our site may link to other businesses, including bartendersNow. If you follow a link, the other business's privacy policy applies. We do not send them your information when you click.

Your rights. You may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and to opt out of sharing; we will not treat you differently for asking. Email events@atwistofli.me with the subject "Privacy Request". We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days (we may extend once by 45 days and will tell you). We may need to verify your identity by matching details to our records. An authorized agent may act for you with your written permission. If we deny a request, reply with the subject "Privacy Appeal". We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

How long we keep it. Event and payment records: 7 years from the service date (tax and accounting). Marketing contacts: until you opt out; we review inactive contacts periodically. Other communications (other than the call and voicemail items below): kept while we need them for your booking, our records and legal needs. Recordings of calls and voicemails: no more than 90 days, unless the call relates to a booked event, a payment, a dispute or an insurance matter, in which case we keep the part we need with that event's records, or until the matter is resolved. Voicemail transcripts, summaries and our call log: 2 years. This replaces the general 3-year period for these items. Advertising click ID: the cookie lasts up to 90 days; a click ID saved with an inquiry is kept with that event's records. Google Analytics data: kept for the period set in our Google Analytics settings. Job applications: see the Applicant Privacy Notice. We may keep records longer where the law requires or to resolve a dispute.

Job applicants. If you apply to work with us, see our Applicant Privacy Notice.

Children. Our services involve alcohol and are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly sell or share information about anyone under 16. If you think a minor has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes. We update this policy by posting a new dated version; earlier versions stay available through the "Earlier versions" link.
