Common Questions About
Fundraiser Bartending
Can bar proceeds go toward our fundraising goal?
Beverage sales of any kind, including a cash bar or paid drink tickets, require an ABC license, which must be held by your organization (for example, a special daily license, which ABC issues only to qualifying nonprofit organizations) or by a licensed beverage vendor. We don't handle cash or transactions; with ticketed service, your team sells the tickets and all of that revenue goes to your organization. We're happy to talk through what fits your event.
Do you have experience with nonprofit and charity events?
Yes. We have served fundraisers for a range of organizations and understand the unique dynamics, from timed auction segments to keynote transitions and paddle-raise moments.
Can we mix an open bar with drink tickets?
Yes. A common setup is a hosted open bar for the first hour or two, followed by drink-ticket service. Your team issues or sells the tickets and our bartenders collect them at the bar; we never handle cash. If guests pay for tickets, an ABC license is required, held by your organization (for example, a special daily license, which ABC issues only to qualifying nonprofit organizations) or by a licensed beverage vendor.
